Hi I'm Aaliyah
My interest in dog training began with my own dog, Bruno, a Cockapoo. Around six months old, his genetics really started to show and without the right outlets, he became reactive, anxious, had a high prey drive and no recall. I quickly learned the challenges of a working dog without a “job” to channel their instincts into. Determined to help him, I threw myself into learning everything I could. I attended group classes, 1-on-1 sessions, neutrality walks, and Gundog training classes. Structured training and breed-specific fulfilment made a huge difference, improving not only his behaviour but also his engagement and enjoyment on walks.
Working for a dog walking company gave me the chance to shadow experienced trainers. Over the past three years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs, especially anxious and working breeds, continuing their training through structured walks and one-on-one sessions. I’ve also shared insights through training blogs and more recently, begun fostering dogs with behavioural issues, offering them a second chance at a happy, supportive home. I continue to learn and grow through mentorship and workshops, ensuring I offer the best support for dogs and their owners.

Meet Bruno: Chief Cuddler & Adventure Companion
Bruno is my 5 year old Cockapoo and the proud face of Bruno’s Buddies. He’s a great “stooge,” helping other dogs gain confidence during training walks before they join our adventurous group walks.
Bruno enjoys Crocs (classic spaniel), Canicross, hiking, and endless cuddles.
After working through his own reactivity challenges, he is now the perfect companion for every walk!
