DOG WALKING Services

Walks That Bring Out the Best in Your Dog

At Bruno’s Buddies, every walk is carefully structured to meet your dog’s individual needs, supporting ongoing training and reinforcing behaviours in real-world settings. With experience working with reactive, anxious and high prey-drive dogs, each walk provides both physical and mental stimulation while practising skills like recall, lead walking and impulse control. 1:1 Training Walks

Need someone to train you’re dog while you’re at work?

Training Walks are designed to meet your dog’s individual needs through exercise and education. Working Dog Walks give high-drive dogs physical and mental stimulation suited to their breed and addresses common behavioural issues such as reactivity. You will be sent a training report detailing what we worked on and homework to reinforce training between sessions.

Working Dog Walk - Fulfilment

60 min: £28
Does your dog struggle to stay engaged on walks?
Are walks not tiring them out?

The Working Dog Walk provides your dog with safe, breed-specific outlets to fulfil their instincts that are both physically and mentally stimulating. Working breeds are full of energy, drive, and have genetic instincts that need an outlet. They were bred to work (e.g hunt, track, retrieve or herd). Without a ‘job’ they can become frustrated, reactive, or hard to manage on walks.

Sessions can include:

  • Lead walking
  • Whistle recall
  • Stop whistle
  • Retrieves
  • Scent work
  • Flirt pole
  • Tug games
  • Advanced obedience

Working dog walk - behavioural

60 min: £28
Do you struggle to walk your dog around other dogs?
Is your dog nervous of strangers?

During these walks, I’ll work through behavioural concerns such as reactivity and create a tailored training plan that meets your dog’s unique needs. Training walks focus on helping your dog build positive associations and develop calmer, more resilient responses to the world around them.

I take a holistic approach to behaviour modification and consider the role their emotional state, physical comfort, nutrition, and routines can have on their progress. While obedience skills have their place, my priority is shifting your dog’s emotional response to their triggers and ensuring they are in the right mindset to learn.

What we work on:

  • Reactivity
  • Fear/ anxiety
  • Cafe settle work
  • Building food/ toy motivation
  • Engagement
  • Lead manners
  • Neutrality

Improvers Walk

30 min: £16
Adventure Walk Preparation

Our Improvers sessions are tailored to your dog’s individual needs, offering 1-to-1 training focused on specific goals such as building confidence or improving recall. After each session, you’ll receive training feedback and videos to help reinforce progress and maintain consistency at home. These sessions are designed for dogs preparing to graduate onto our Adventure Walks. They refine obedience and assess neutrality around stooge dogs. They’re also perfect for initial bonding sessions with anxious dogs and help young puppies learn proper socialisation.

How to graduate:
  • Be able to walk nicely on lead in a group
  • Recall
  • Neutral to other dogs
  • Comfortable travelling in the van

Please note that spaces are limited and prioritised for dogs progressing to Adventure Walks once they have developed the required skills. Our primary walking services are Adventure Walks and Working Dog Walks.
